Three classes are now up and running with our newly appointed teachers! Grade 1 (7/8 year olds), Grade 2 (8/9 year olds) and Grade 3 (9/10 year olds) are being taught English, Maths, Environmental Sciences, Amharic (the local language) and Art - the standard Ethiopian curriculum. The headteacher has been appointed and he is called Mr Endalk Tsega.

The power of technology has seen £1,450 donated in just two weeks and we want to say a huge thank you to all those who have supported us to date. 

Every little really does help. 

A week here truly puts life in perspective. Ethiopia - the cradle of mankind - has produced a humble, warm generous people. And - in spite of the weather - a people thirsty for education.
